Compass International School Doha (CISD) invited a mobile Blood Donation Unit from Hamad General Hospital to their Gharaffa Campus this week, following an urgent appeal for blood donation by Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC).
HMC recently posted an urgent call for blood donation of all types (O Positive, O Negative, B Positive, B Negative, AB Positive and AB Negative), urging the public to check their eligibility at the HMC Blood Donor Centre.
It was heartwarming to see a local school supporting their community and educating students on the value of helping others. Following a great turnout from both staff and parents, the school has been presented with a certificate of appreciation, in recognition for their contribution.
