Bringing true Asian hospitality to the heart of Doha, Shangri-La Hotel Doha invites guests to celebrate Chinese New Year

Shangri-La Hotel Doha, renowned for bringing legendary Asian hospitality to Qatar, is offering guests a truly memorable way to celebrate this Chinese New Year, the Year of the Dog. During February, visitors can experience the ancient traditions of Chinese culture throughout the luxury 5-star hotel – from red envelopes presented at check-in through to exquisite dining offerings and traditional spa treatments.

Shanghai Club, the hotel’s renowned Asian restaurant which boasts a 100% Chinese chef team, is ushering in the Lunar New Year with a special limited menu available from the 15–28 February.

This creative set menu has been carefully developed to honour the full Chinese New year celebrations through selected ingredients that symbolise health, prosperity and good fortune. Main dishes include Steam Boston Lobster with Glass Noodle and Garlic Sauce, Crispy Skin Chicken, and Traditional Style Braised Abalone with Golden Broth Sauce and Green Vegetables.

Elevating social experiences, Shanghai Cub is located on the 43rd floor offering breathtaking 360-degree city views and chic retro interiors. Diners can choose from two eight-course exclusive banquets, priced at QAR 488 per person and QAR 688 per person.

Upholding the hotel’s heritage while promoting health and longevity for the New Year, CHI, the Spa, located on the seventh floor, is offering an exclusive Tui Na Massage.
