Losail Circuit Sports Club, Qatar Sports for All Federation and Qatar Cyclists have announced training days for Ladies Only at Losail International Circuit starting 13 December 2016.
In a press conference held on Wednesday, 7 December 2016, during a regular Losail Training Day, it was officially announced with the presence of Abdulrahman Al Dosari, President Qatar Sports for All Federation, Saud Al Attiyah, President Losail Circuit Sports Club, Dr Abdulaziz Al Kuwari, Qatar Cyclists and Haya Al Ghanim, Qatar Cyclists / Oola Sports that the Losail International Circuit will be opening its doors twice a month for ladies only, to enable them to exercise in an outdoor facility with privacy.
In cooperation with Qatar Sports for All Federation and Qatar Cyclists, Losail Circuit Sports Club continues to focus on hosting physical activities that aims to maximise the full potential of the facilities. The goal is to provide the community with a safe and comfortable environment to exercise in. In addition to the Wednesday training days, the track will now also be open exclusively for ladies only on selected Tuesdays of every month.
Saud Al Attiyah, LCSC President, said:
I have been President of the circuit for 1 year now and in this year, we have been able to use the facility the most we can, but still we can do more work in community engagement and use it to its full potential. Today I am happy to launch this new event with Qatar Sports for All Federation and Qatar Cyclists. We are here to provide all we can from the circuit to cyclists in the community.’
Al Attiyah added:
We came to this Circuit with 3 goals in mind: 1) to have more community engagement 2) increase the motor sports involvement in our youth 3) to lessen the burden on the government on providing facilities for physical activity. With these goals in mind we hope that the community comes to our facility and takes advantage of it as it will be open to the public.’
Abdulrahman Al Dosari, QSFA President said that Qatar Sports for All Federation is very concerned and focused on encouraging the community to be more physically active and live a healthier lifestyle.
Dr Abdulaziz Al Kuwari said that Qatar Cyclists is very proud to announce this launch with Qatar Sports for All Federation and Losail International Circuit under the slogan ‘Activity is wellness’.
Haya Al Ghanim is very proud to organise recurring training days for ladies and provide this opportunity to all the ladies to exercise freely somewhere that is open and not in a closed area.

Registration: Free of Charge, Please bring your QID along
You will be asked to complete a registration form and sign a waiver.
Activities: Cycle, walk, run or rollerblade around the track
Distance: The Track is 5.31 km long and you can do as many laps as you like during the scheduled time
Car Park Area: Inside the Circuit next to the Paddock Restaurant Parking
Free Water at the Paddock cafeteria
Cyclists must use the track in an anti-clockwise direction, cycling on the inside of the track, overtaking to the left
Runners and walkers use the track in a clockwise direction on the outside of the track, between the blue line and fence. No crossing of the track is permitted without the safety marshal’s permission
All cyclists (including small children) must wear a helmet and closed-toe shoes when using the track
Anyone under 14 must be accompanied by an adult
