The Evaluation Department of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education recently published the result of its annual survey of pupils and parents for 2015 – 2016, in all private and government schools in Qatar.

Sherborne Qatar Preparatory School received a 100% rating and joint top position for student satisfaction. The whole school – both Preparatory and Senior School – are included in the top eight schools for parental satisfaction.

Sherborne Qatar opened in 2009 and is the only British independent school to be part of the Outstanding Schools Programme. It has a Preparatory School for 3 – 11 year-old pupils located in Old Al Rayyan, and a Senior School for 11 – 18 year-old pupils at Bani Hajer.

The school, which follows the British National Curriculum, aims to produce confident and well-rounded individuals who are happy to be in school, believing that happy children learn more efficiently and effectively. The Senior School prepares pupils for GCSE exams at age 16 and for A levels at age 18. It is also developing the qualifications it offers pupils at age 17.
