KidZania Doha and Fairytale Salon, the first exclusive spa for kids in Qatar, recently signed a partnership agreement to create a Beauty Salon inside KidZania Doha.

Kidzania DohaThe collaboration between the two companies aims to educate children about hygiene, personal appearance and to develop an artistic sense among children.

In the ‘Beauty Salon’, little girls will take on the role of make-up artists or hairstylists and will be trained to give the coolest make-up look or hairstyle. Other children can become ‘customers’ and enjoy a range of spa services, using their earned kidZos money.

Ric Fearnett, Governor of KidZania Doha said they are excited to partner with Fairytale Salon.

We are in the final stages of preparing for the opening of KidZania Doha in 2018 and welcoming children from Qatar and all over the world; we are proud that we will contribute to the achievement of Qatar National Vision 2030 through the development and empowerment of children.’

Noura Al Malki, founder of Fairytale Salon said her daughter, her little princess, inspired her to create the kid-exclusive salon concept. She said that partnering with KidZania Doha allows her the opportunity, through effective educational and entertaining role-play platforms, to promote values and develop creative skills for the younger generation.

KidZania Doha is expected to open its doors in 2018. Located at Aspire Zone with a footprint size of over 5,500 square metres, it will provide a unique educational and entertainment experience, featuring 42 establishments where children will be able to role play ‘adult jobs’ in up to 60 pretend roles, learning a variety of values including self-reliance, team work, honesty, integrity and giving back to society.
