Mowasalat (Karwa) participated in the activities of the two-day International Traffic Safety Conference 2018 held this week at the Sheraton Grand Doha Resort and Convention Hotel.
Mowasalat Managing Director and CEO Khalid Nasser Al Hail, said that traffic safety is a top priority for their company.
Mowasalat’s participation is intended as contribution to traffic awareness for members of the public and our drivers undergo intensive training before actually starting to work, to avoid accidents and save lives.’
Members of the Mowasalat team also distributed flyers with a list of various services offered by the company. Safety standards are applied in all their buses, which are equipped with seat belts, emergency exits and glass breakers.
They also demonstrated the technical and mechanical safety features in their transportations including an automatic fire extinguishing system in the engine compartment, and an advanced mechanism for wheels fastening.
The Karwa Driving School under Mowasalat, which has been in operation since 2006, has added and updated many of their training programmes designed with specialised modules for driver training, including handling major international events, in preparation for FIFA World Cup 2022.
