Radisson Blu Hotel Doha Participates in ‘No Paper Day Qatar’ Campaign

Radisson Blu no paper day campaign

The Radisson Blu Hotel Doha participated in the ‘No Paper Day Qatar’ campaign organised by the Qatar Green Building Council from 20 March to 10 April 2018.

This year the No Paper Day was not only to reduce but to collect and recycle.

The campaign’s aim was to encourage the local community to adopt eco-friendly initiatives geared at reducing waste nationwide and to remind the public that reducing the use of Qatar’s resources not only can improve business efficiency, but help to preserve the environment’s long-term health.

The hotel contributed the following items for recycling:

13 kg of Beverage Cans

120 kg of Plastic bottles

All items were collected with the help of the operational teams from the housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage and the hotels responsible business team members.

A certificate of appreciation was received at the appreciation ceremony held on the 12 April by the Qatar Green Building Council.
