‘Screen For Life’, Qatar’s National Breast and Bowel Cancer Screening programme, led by the Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC), has marked the auspicious occasion of Qatar National Day by reminding the public to take a positive approach with their health and undergo a complimentary breast and bowel cancer screening.

The three dedicated ‘Screen For Life’ screening units at Al Wakra, Leabaib and Rawdat Al Khail Health Centres offer breast and bowel cancer screening in their spa-like facilities, putting patients at ease and providing ultimate privacy.

The message on this special occasion forms a key component in the ongoing ‘Screen For Life’ efforts to raise awareness of the programme’s goals and initiatives and the benefits of screening in the early detection of cancer.

PHCC Cancer Programme Manager Dr Shaikha Abu Shaikha said that on the occasion of Qatar National Day, the people of Qatar should take the lead with their health. A healthy population, according to her, is happier, and more prosperous.

By adopting a proactive approach with their own health, the people of Qatar can help shape a healthier future for Qatar.’
