The Westin Doha  Hotel and Spa has recently announced the appointment of Vimantha Anthony as the Executive Pastry Chef, who brings with him a wealth of 15 years of experience in renowned 5-star hotels.

Working previously in several Marriott International Properties in the Gulf region, chef Vimantha served as a Pastry Chef, which helped him develop a stronger foundation and innovative skills, particularly in cake design.

From his side, Rui Eduardo Januario, Director of Food & Beverage at  The Westin Doha Hotel & Spa, said:

It is a great honor for our hotel to welcome such a talented Executive Pastry Chef who is really enthusiastic about putting his knowledge and creativity to craft  personalized cakes.’

Commenting on his appointment, Chef Vimantha said:
