United Development Company (UDC), a leading Qatari shareholding company and master developer of The Pearl-Qatar, recently organised its annual staff gathering at Marsa Malaz Kempinski at The Pearl, to recognise the hard work and dedication of its employees.

The gathering was led by UDC President and CEO Ibrahim Al-Othman and members of the UDC Executive Management.

The event honoured UDC employees who completed ten years of service with the company. Al-Othman presented certificates of appreciation and gifts to 24 long serving employees, thanking them for their achievements and wishing them continued success at UDC. He also highlighted the company’s achievements and financial performance in 2017, and briefed employees on strategic plans and objectives set for this year.

The event featured a documentary produced by UDC to shed light on the company’s journey, highlighting the success of UDC’s strategy in overcoming challenges. Al-Othman told attendees that UDC’s achievements over the past year is a reflection of the company’s resilience and commitment to its development strategy.

The annual staff gathering aims to instil a spirit of teamwork between top management and employees which in turn mirrors UDC’s belief in the significance of human capital towards achieving corporate mission and strategic objectives.
