Torba Farmer's Market

Torba Farmers MarketQatar Foundation (QF) has partnered with Torba Farmers Market, a Qatar-based initiative that aims to deliver organic and locally-grown food and homemade products, to host a weekly market in Education City.

Open to the public, the market will have its launch this Thursday, 16 November at the QF Ceremonial Court. It will be accessible from Gate 2 every Thursday, 9 am to 4 pm and every Friday,  8 am to 11 am and 2 pm to 5 pm.

Indian Mela at Intercontinental Doha The City

A brand new bimonthly concept called Great Indian Mela with street food, live music, Antakshari and Bollywood Quiz for the first time.

Talented musicians who will enthrall you with their magical voices and their music appetite. Antakshari with a live band, Bollywood quiz with some cool prizes.

Powder & Damask: Islamic Arms and Armour from Fadel Al Mansoori’s Collection

Dagger Khanjar Qajar IranThis exhibition presents Islamic arms and armour from the private collection of Fadel Al Mansoori. Including both edged weapons and firearms, the objects on display range from 17th to the 19th century, and were produced primarily in Turkey, Iran and India. Powder and Damask explore the art of craftsmanship, which reached unprecedented levels in these regions under the Ottoman, Safavid and Mughal empires, where these objects were considered not only as weapons but also as works of art.
