Katara will host festivities throughout Eid Al Adha holiday beginning on Tuesday, 21 September. The festivities will take place at the Katara Beach area.
Eid gifts, which will be given out by Katara staff, will also be distributed to children, who will also be treated to entertainment games and activities. Click here for more information.
On 23 August, QF will host its Eid Al Adha celebrations at the Education City Club House, showcasing Qatari traditions such as henna tattoo and arts and crafts, and inviting the community to enjoy traditional food, before welcoming students back to Education City for the start of the new academic year in September.
Sleeping Beauty at Lagoona Mall
Lagoona Mall is set to feature a very special Eid Al Adha celebration for shoppers and visitors starting the first day of Eid.
The mall will come alive with the wondrous tale, ‘Sleeping Beauty’, one of the world’s oldest and most revered fairy tales, live on stage daily at 3:30 pm, 6:30 pm, and 9:30 pm.
All the way from the United Kingdom, the group ‘Fairytale Shows’ will take the stage with 11 performers who will send us to the land of Fantasia to witness the birth of the Fairy Princess and her life after the jealous Maleficent casts a spell on.
Ben 10 at Doha Festival City
Doha Festival City’s partnership with one of the most popular kids’ channel, Cartoon Network, kicks off with Ben 10, the much-adored character, bringing families and loved ones together in celebration this Eid Al Adha. Ben 10 will feature in three live shows daily in addition to an experiential activity zone from the first day of Eid till 30 August.
Msheireb Museums (MM), the cultural destination at Msheireb Downtown Doha (MDD), will open its doors to visitors and guests from the second day of the Eid Al Adha holiday.
MM welcomes visitors, art connoisseurs and researchers of heritage and history starting from the Wednesday 22 August 2018. The working hours will be from 3 pm to 9 pm during the Eid. The museum will remain closed on Tuesday (the first day of Eid Al Adha).
