NGO Reach Out To Asia (ROTA) who organise the event are promising 8 jam packed hours of family activities, kicking off at 2pm.
The schedule for children’s events is:
2:10pm there is going to be a Clown Show.
3:15 there will be a Jugglers Show and at 3:35 an Entertainment Show.
7:20 there will be a Balloons & Bubble Show.
There will also be a Japanese Drums performance at 5pm by 40 students who travelled to Doha especially for Wheels ‘n’ Heels, to commemorate 40 years of friendship between Qatar and Japan.
For all children eager to learn to drive, Porsche Kids Driving School are giving away school caps and child safety booklets and 100 lucky kids will win a chance to have a go at driving a Porsche on Saturday 11th February and walk away with a Porsche Driving Licence.
Olympic athletes such as Nada Zeidan and Rania Elwani will join 20 top Qatar Stars League players on the Wheels ‘n’ Heels circuit, and Al Jazeera presenters Gretta Al-Rayes and Said Sarhan will be the Masters of Ceremony for the event.
The Tour of Qatar Finale and Ceremony is at 4pm and is supported by their strategic partner Qatar Cycling Federation. Collect a ticket from the Qtel stand before the QTEL sponsored Wheels’ n ‘Heels Circuit at 4:35pm when thousands will run, jog, walk, cycle, skateboard the circuit to raise funds for ROTA’s projects.
At 5:15pm Qatar is going to launch the official 2020 Olympic Logo and Slogan live from the Wheels ‘n’ Heels Stage as part of their bid for the 2020 Summer Olympic Games.
Other activities include singing from Hala Al Turk, from Arab’s Got Talent at 6:45 and 7:20pm, a speech from ROTA Brand Ambassador Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Thani at 7:10pm, a jazz concert at 8:15pm and performances from singers Fayez Al-Said and Qatari singer Ali Abdulsatar and then an Acrobat Show at 8:45pm. A final performance at 9:10pm from Jordanian singing sensation Diana Karazon.
Food will be available from ROTA’s partners Nando’s, Qatar Star Services, the ONE and Doha Marriott Hotel.
