The 7th edition of the Middle East District Cooling Summit (MEDCS), the highly anticipated annual event for the district cooling industry, is all set to kick off high impact discussions and presentations from some of the world’s leading experts on district cooling tomorrow, 10 November 2015, at The Ritz-Carlton, Doha.
The two-day event, which runs up to 11 November 2015, will formally open its doors to welcome 26 specialists, 52 participating companies and over 240 delegates from Qatar, the Middle East region and across the world.
On the first day of the summit, Fleming Gulf, the organisers of market-leading conferences across the GCC and of this year’s edition of the region’s largest gathering of global experts and specialists in district cooling, will deliver a welcome note to signal the formal start of the Summit. This will be followed by a welcome address to be delivered by Salah Nezar, Sustainability Director of Qatar Project Management and Summit Chair.
Among the keynote speakers on the first day of the Summit include HE Ahmad M. Bin Shafar, Chief Executive Officer of EMPOWER UAE; Dr Yousef Mohammad Al Horr, Founding Chairman, Gulf Organisation for Research and Development (GORD), Qatar; and Mr Nezar, who will discuss the updates on Solar Outdoor Cooling in Qatar.
This year’s edition will have Qatar Cool as the event’s official host and headline sponsor and AuCom Motor Control Systems (AuCom MCS) as the event’s platinum sponsor.
