Q-Auto, sole distributer of Volkswagen in Qatar, presented the sporty and powerful new Tiguan at the Doha UCI Road World Championships.

The new model is the first Volkswagen SUV built on the state-of-the-art MQB platform and features new technology, completely unique in the compact class, such as the active information display, adaptive cruise control and even a head-up display.

The all-new Tiguan is available with a choice of two engines and five model trims at the Volkswagen showroom on Salwa Road:
S 1.4L with 150 HP, SE 1.4L with 150 HP, SE 2.0L with 180 HP, SEL 2.0L with 180 HP, and Sport 2.0L with 220 HP.

The new Tiguan is perfectly thought-out – from its sharp new design to the state-of-the-art technology. With its larger body, the new model is more spacious, flexible and appealing to drivers and their families. It’s suitable as an ideal companion for both their everyday business and personal lives.

Even for the sports enthusiast, the Tiguan offers comfort and flexible space, without compromising its pure driving pleasure, especially in the Sports 2.0 with its 220 horses!

But most people buy an SUV for its practicality and versatility. The new Tiguan therefore prioritises passenger comfort and convenience, and in fact offers a great deal more: there are optional leather seats with memory function, an additional 145 litres of cargo space and the ‘easy open’ trunk available, in addition adaptive cruise control, 4MOTION Active Control, front assist and AppConnect.

The numerous technical innovations, combined with its authentic SUV design, make the new Tiguan one of the most attractive SUVs in its class. Moreover, the new Tiguan offers a wide range of safety features, including ‘active bonnet’ and six airbags as standard, an extra knee airbag on the driver’s side, forward collision warning and autonomous emergency braking system for adaptive cruise control – underpinning the Tiguan’s benchmark status as a leader in safety.
