Sharq Village and Spa have partnered with CastaDiva, the five-star luxury resort & spa from the heart of Como, Italy, to provide guests with a gastronomic experience at Al Dana Restaurant.
Sharq Village & Spa have flown in Executive Chef Alessio Mecozzi from the resort to provide a three-day celebration of Italian cuisine from 27 to 29 January 2015.
Assisted by the resident culinary team at Al Dana, Chef Alessio’s will present a four-course meal between 6:30 pm to 11 pm, prepared using a selection of the finest quality, authentic ingredients. Coupled with an exceptional level of service, guests and visitors of Sharq Village & Spa can look forward to a delectable, memorable dining experience. Priced at QR 320 per person, the menu will provide a typical Italian experience with a modern twist based on a meticulous selection of the finest Italian products such as fresh pasta, bread and cakes.
Guests are invited to begin their culinary journey through a variety of Italian appetizers such as octopus, mussel, orange, tomato, ravioli, eggplants and cheese. The main course will include the finest veal tenderloin, carrots and dried tomatoes. A latte macchiato along with some of Italy’s favourite desserts will be presented for an indulgent ending to the memorable meal.
Dining in the 118-seat offers guests a relaxing beachside sanctuary in a breath-taking Qatari-inspired setting. Other distinctive features include a visually exciting show kitchen and sushi counter where aspiring gourmets can follow the preparation of their meal. During the cooler winter months, the relaxed and al fresco environment of the outdoor terrace offers stunning views over Doha bay, which makes for a casual dining spot as well as a perfect location for evening cocktails.
