Al Balad Lebanese Restaurant has celebrated its Grand Opening in the five-star hotel Mövenpick Tower & Suites Hotel in West Bay, the heart of Doha.
The restaurant, which is located on the ground level of the hotel, offers authentic Lebanese cuisine with a unique blend of flavours. Essa Hamad Al Mannai, owner of Al Balad Restaurant, and Ghada Sadek, General Manager of the Mӧvenpick Tower & Suites, led the way for the official ribbon cutting by HE Hassan Qassim Najem, the Lebanese Ambassador.
Al Mannai said:
Doha is a world-class city and the perfect base from which to access the Middle East market. We decided to bring this five-star service restaurant to Doha, because we believe that Al Balad will offer the Qatari community a unique Lebanese casual dining experience, combined with excellent food and service.’
The event was followed by a cocktail reception that was intermitted by a special Lebanese folklore performance that awed the guests.
