Following its humanitarian commitment to Qatari society, Al Khaliji Commercial Bank (al khaliji) PQSC has announced its donation support for Qatar Cancer Society (QCS), a non-profit organisation under the Regulatory Authority for Charitable Activities, to raise awareness about cancer and cancer prevention in Qatar.

On behalf of al khaliji, Nawaf Telfat, Head of al khaliji SME (small to medium enterprises), presented a donation cheque to Ammar Al Mashhadani, QCS Head of Public Relation Department. The funds were raised through a campaign launched by al khaliji this Ramadan, strengthening the bank’s social bonds with and rallying customers behind its charitable work in the spirit of the holy month.

Qatar Cancer Society pledges to raise public awareness on cancer through research, education, communication, and collaboration. Its programmes and services is currently focused on causes, preventive measures, potential treatments, and early diagnosis. It also extends assistance for treatments of resident patients with limited financial means.
