Amir Cup to Allow Fully Vaccinated and Fully Recovered Fans to Watch Final Match
The Amir Cup Local Organising Committee (LOC) announced that this year’s final match will take place at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium on 14 May, with only a limited number of fans to be allowed to watch live.
Only fully vaccinated people and those who have recovered from COVID-19 are eligible to buy tickets. No spectators under 16 will also be allowed to watch the game.
Vaccinated individuals must have received their second shot no later than 30 April, while those who have been infected with COVID-19 must have recovered within the period between 14 November 2020 to 24 April 2021.
Fans who attend the final must wear a mask, adhere to social distancing and sit in the allocated seat according to their ticket. Fans must also show their Ehteraz application upon entering the stadium and have their temperature checked.
Details related to obtaining tickets will be announced at a later time.
This is the second Amir Cup Final to be held in the last five months. The 2020 edition of the competition was played at Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium – the fourth FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™️ tournament venue to be inaugurated by the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy (SC). Al Sadd lifted the 48th edition of the Amir Cup after a 2-1 victory over Al Arabi.
