Campagnia Caffe is one of West Bay’s most remarkable gems. It’s nestled in the heart of the city centre, in walking distance of City Center Doha and plenty of West Bay residences. They’re known for great coffee and amazing breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus – and now they have taken their offerings to a whole other level with an enticing all-day breakfast that you can enjoy every Saturday.

On the ground floor of Marriott Executive Apartments, the walls are decorated with a soothing brick pattern with huge, bright windows that allow you to bask in sunlight while you check your emails or lounge with a cup of coffee. It’s the perfect place to relax, unwind and treat yourself.

Campagnia Caffe has recently upgraded their menu to include an epic all-day breakfast. Now this must be the longest running lazy Saturday breakfast deal which runs until 10 pm!

It’s also an incredibly diverse offering – with sweet and savoury breakfast favourites, and Eastern and Western breakfast classics. The immense platter offers sausage, eggs, homemade Rakakat, mushrooms, beef bacon, pancakes with fresh berries, homemade granola with a strawberry compote, fresh fruit, Rocca salad, and a croissant with homemade jam. Wow.

To start my all-day breakfast extravaganza, I decided to go for the lighter Rocca salad and the homemade Rakakat. The Rocca salad was light and fresh, and eased my guilt with a much needed health kick, while I enjoyed the Rakakat. Rakakat is a small column of cheese wrapped in filo pastry and deep fried… so of course it was absolutely delicious! It was cheesy, salty and crispy – everything you need for a sinful cheese nibble.

The eggs, sausage, sauteed mushrooms, croissant, bacon and toast – with baked beans of course – constitute a standard Western breakfast. With heaps of savoury flavours and perfectly cooked, these elements of the breakfast really added that filling, robust, core of the breakfast.

We followed this savoury splendour with a sweeter note; the pancake ‘cereal’. These mini pancake bites worked perfectly with the oodles of fresh raspberries and blackberries that they paired them with. If you are more of a sweet tooth, you can drizzle the whole bunch with some sweet, sticky honey.

The homemade, fresh granola was crunchy and flavourful and smothered in tangy, creamy yoghurt and drizzled in strawberry compote. While the croissant was buttery, fluffy and delicious!

The Lazy Saturday breakfast is served at Campagnia Caffe, every Saturday from 7 am to 10 pm. Find out more about Campagnia Caffe on their Instagram (@campagniacaffe), or call or Whatsapp 6676 6785 for a reservation.
