The World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE) is now accepting submissions for WISE Awards 2019.
Each year, the WISE Awards recognise innovative and impactful initiatives that address today’s most urgent education challenges. Past projects already addressed a number of diverse topics related to global education, including access and inclusion, design and ecosystems, digital and multimedia, society and workforce, and youth employment.
Submissions are judged according to a strict criteria and must show innovation, have a clear development plan, and be financially stable, scalable, and replicable. They must also demonstrate a transformative impact on individuals, communities, and society.
For 2019, a panel of independent judges will select 12 projects as finalists for the WISE Awards, who will then be evaluated, before the six winning projects are selected by a panel of judges.
The finalists and winners will gain global visibility and opportunities to collaborate via various platforms. They will be invited to participate in the WISE biennial summit and its events across the world, and gain exposure through WISE communications and publications. They will also receive a cash prize of US $20,000.
Applications and nominations can be submitted through this link:wise-qatar.org/wise-awards until 15 January 2019.
