Featuring 15 exhilarating water rides and attractions spread over an area of 50,000 square meters, Aqua Park has something to offer guests of all age groups and swimming skills. Tickets can be purchased at the gate or online to avoid queues.
Aqua Park Qatar’s General Manager, Mohamed Firdaus Raj, said:
Last year, we welcomed 3,500 guests during the opening week…and we’re ready to welcome an even larger number of guests this year. A total of 160,000 people visited Aqua Park in 2013, with more than 170,000 guests anticipated in 2014.’
A special pirate-themed party is planned at the end of the month of March to celebrate the beginning of the season. It will feature a variety of special games and activities that will keep children and families entertained throughout the day. Dates and details of the event will be communicated through Aqua Park’s social media channels on Facebook and Twitter (@AquaparkQatar).
From opening day all the park’s rides will be open to guests, including the huge play area featuring the 2,000 gallon tipping bucket and the park’s four-storey high water slides. The full-size wave pool and the guest-favorite 200-meter long lazy river will also be ready to receive guests.
A spectacular new ride is planned to be opened later in the season, as well as the launch of a loyalty program that will afford special benefits to members. Raj said:
We are in the process of finalizing details on the membership program and will be releasing further details at a later stage.’
Like last year, Fridays will be family days with no bachelors allowed into the park. Beginning April, Tuesdays will exclusively be ladies’ days.
