Bin Yousef Group Donates QAR200,000 Worth of Food to Qatar Red Crescent
Bin Yousef Group is donating QAR200,000 worth of food to Qatar Red Crescent (QRC) to support the charity in offering Iftar meals during this holy month of Ramadan.
Along with a mix of healthy food and confectionaries, Bin Yousef is also extending its wishes and prayers in the current pandemic situation.
The group’s Chief Operating Officer David Ford said they, as a group understand the difficult times that everyone is going through, and although they too are heavily affected, they are making an effort to bring support to the Doha community.
We hope that this partnership with Red Crescent, in the spirit of Ramadan, will give relief to some of the less fortunate who are perhaps even more effected of the physical and mental burden of the lockdown.
Established in 1978, Bin Yousef Group holds Bin Yousef Cargo, and is actively involved in supporting Qatar. By assisting in time-critical cargo logistics of hospital building initiatives and charter delivery of PPE masks in Qatar for COVID-19, along with various other non-profit campaigns with Qatar Cancer Society, the group aims to encourage its staff and partners in the spirit of kindness and generosity.
