Located on the captivating Al Maha Island in Lusail City, LPM Restaurant & Bar Doha graces a unique vantage point – facing the setting sun as it descends behind the city skyline, casting a mesmerising glow across the marina. As we stepped inside, we met the timeless LPM dining room, a carefully designed tribute to the La Belle Epoque era.

The restaurant features a minimalist yet trendy interior with bold art pieces on the walls and attentive staff who are always poised with warm smiles. Arya, our attentive server, whose extensive knowledge of both the restaurant and its delectable dishes, ensured that our every need was met.

While we dined indoors, the thought of savouring the cooler weather on the outdoor terrace was tempting, offering the prospect of even more stunning views.

LPM Restaurant & Bar Doha offers two enticing Business Lunch menus, catering to various appetites and preferences. The Le Petit Menu costs QAR150 per person and includes one starter and one main course. The Le Grand Menu is priced at QAR190 per person and offers either two starters and one main course or one starter, one main course, and one dessert. We opted for the Le Grand Menu, which allowed us to indulge in a diverse array of dishes. But first, freshly baked bread arrived at our table, accompanied by extra virgin olive oil, a lemon, and vibrant red tomatoes, inviting us to customise our bread experience.

Afterward, they brought out the Salade de Jour (Salad of the Day), a delightful surprise that perfectly complemented our starters. The selection of starters presented a dilemma, but fortunately, each of us ordered something different, allowing us to sample a bit of everything. Among the choices were the refreshing Baby Spinach and Artichoke Salad adorned with creamy Feta, the Sea Bream Tartare infused with zesty Yuzu, a wholesome Quinoa Salad featuring succulent raisins and Goji berries, and stealing the spotlight was the Escargots de Bourgogne, boasting snails cloaked in rich garlic butter and fragrant parsley.

Moving on to the main courses, we were served the Cod Fillet, bathed in aromatic olive oil and accompanied by a medley of vegetables, presenting sea and earthy goodness. The Baby Chicken was tender and marinated to perfection, while the Homemade Rigatoni Pasta adorned with Girolles Mushrooms was comforting. But it was the Veal Cheeks, a true standout among them all, that left an impression. These luscious bites, subtly infused with the lively essence of orange zest, proved to be a surprise, effortlessly melting in the mouth.

And let’s not forget the side dishes: Mixed Mushrooms, a hearty and earthy contrast to the main courses, and the Polenta with Parmesan Cheese – so creamy, cheesy, and indulgent.

For dessert, we had the Pistachio Cake, enriched by cherry sauce and honey ice cream, providing a symphony of nutty, fruity, and sweet notes.

LPM Restaurant & Bar Doha has swiftly earned a spot in our list of favourites, and we eagerly anticipate our return to explore more of the culinary treasures that this restaurant has to offer.
