Busy Bees British Nursery celebrated its 10 Anniversary on 27 September 2014 with a celebration party under the slogan ‘2004 – 2014 Celebrating 10 years of continued success’.
The celebration party included fun activities, refreshments, photo booth, bouncy castle, face painting, games and more for at least 50 attendees including staff, faculty and nursery children as well as their parents.
Busy Bees opened in September 2004 with five classrooms. In August 2006, the nursery moved to larger premises with seven classrooms. Since 2013, nine classrooms have been available.
Busy Bees is a successful feeder nursery to good primary schools such as Doha English Speaking School (DESS), Doha College Primary School, The American School of Doha (ASD), Park House International School, Qatar International School (QIS) among others. Busy Bees offers a child-centred approach, where children are encouraged to develop their creativity, individuality and self-confidence in secure surroundings and led by willing staff that have a real rapport with the children in their care.
Busy Bees believes children need to feel a sense of security and belonging when they are away from their parents. They learn through playing and this is the key to the philosophy of their entire nursery. Busy Bees strives to ensure that all children feel happy, relaxed and safe and encourage them to feel confident in co-operating and developing good relationships with the adults caring for them.
Recently, Busy Bees has announced the launch of a Cook Book, with international recipes that parents of the nursery’s children have shared with them. If you want to share a recipe to be included in the first edition of the book, contact Busy Bees at [email protected], or at 4447 2319 or 6656 3265.
Busy Bees British Nursery is open from Sunday to Thursday from 6 am to 4 pm.
