Head out to Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar (CMU-Q) for an evening of music by C Street Brass on Thursday 14 March 2013!
C Street Brass was founded in 2007 and has recently been appointed Ensemble in Residence at Carnegie Mellon University. With their distinct interpretations and unified sound, the quintet has quickly established itself as a leading ensemble.
Placing a premium on concert presentation, C Street Brass’ vast repertoire is drawn from the standards of brass quintet literature, classical pops, contemporary music, as well as unique transcriptions from all genres.
With their dynamic stage presence coupled with wildly entertaining theatrics, C Street Brass has received high acclaim from world-renowned musicians such as Wynton Marsalis, Chris Botti, and Eric Ewazen. In concert, the group has dazzled audiences all over the world having played concerts throughout the United States and in the Middle East.
