In his preparations for the 4th World Mindsports Championships organised by Mindsports Academy and hosted by Qatar Tourism Authority, young Chess Master Ieysaa Bin-Suhayl will be challenging Qatar’s locals and residents to take him on.

Ieysaa will be in the Mall of Qatar from 4 pm-7 pm on Friday 18 August 2017, with his chess boards. Everyone is invited to challenge him and make their moves. It is a unique opportunity for locals of all ages to play against a grand master, especially one so young, and learn more about chess, as well as the wider Mindsports World ChampionshipsIeysaa Bin-Suhayl claiming an award

Ieysaa started playing Chess at age 4 and by age 6 was playing in tournaments. He has played all over the world from his native UK through to Italy, Austria, Netherlands, Corsica, Sardinia, South Africa, Czech Republic and UAE.

I’m really looking forward to the tournament in Qatar and the day prior it will be really fun to meet people in the mall, share my passion for the sport and who knows maybe get beaten.’

Ieysaa will be taking on International and Grand Masters during the nine-day event taking place at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC) from 19 – 27 August 2017. The Championships are expected to attract over 1,500 mindsports enthusiasts of all levels from across the globe as they battle in their chosen mindsport to be crowned 2017 Champion. The event will comprise of various tournaments in Chess, Scrabble, eSports, Backgammon, Bridge and GO.
