The Expo (Al-Bidaa Challenge) 3×3 Basketball Championship competitions launched this week with the participation of 16 teams representing over 10 countries.

The two-day tournament, which parades some of the world’s top stars, is part of the Expo 2023 Doha activities. The tournament is taking place at Al-Bidaa Square.

Sixteen foreign teams are participating in addition to four teams representing Qatar, namely Doha, Lusail, Al-Bidaa, and Al-Wakrah. The Manila Philippine team, one of the most famous international teams in the 3×3 competitions, is also joining the challenge.

The tournament is part of the activities of Expo 2023 Doha through an agreement between the Qatar Basketball Federation (QBF) and the Organizing Committee of Expo 2023 Doha.

The Gulf Championship 3×3 is scheduled to take place this November, followed by the World Universities Championship. These two championship tournaments are part of the activities of Expo 2023 Doha.
