The Women’s Circle together with the US Embassy in Qatar celebrated Women’s History Month this March with an experience created around women, art and self-expression. The Women’s Circle is an experience by Sheraton Grand Doha x Anahi

Women’s Circle co-founder Anahi moderated the panel, Art & Womanhood – A Journey of Self Expression and Empowerment, featuring filmmaker Shaima Al Tamimi, visual artist Ghada Al Khater, cultural artist and curator Asma Derouiche, and American singer and cultural ambassador Maya Azucena.

The panellists discuss how they use their art and voice as a catalyst for change and development. Singer Maya Azucena reflected on how she weaved her challenges and successes into music as a process of healing and growth into fearlessness. Fearless is not the absence of fear, it is courage on its face.

Women's Circle March event

The Women’s Circle was created by Sheraton Grand Doha x Anahi to bring women of different backgrounds to share, discuss and witness each other’s journeys, using curated concepts and collaborations. The initiative is part of Marriott’s Together We’re Better corporate social responsibility programme, inspired by their spirit to serve their community.
