ROTA Executive Director, Essa Al Mannai, said:

Organised by Qatar’s leading education and humanitarian charity Reach Out To Asia (ROTA), Wheels ‘n’ Heels 2014 at the Museum of Islamic Art Park promises eight hours of exciting activities for the whole family. The fun starts 2:00 p.m. as the Wheels ‘n’ Heels Action Zones burst into life.

Music fans are expected to flock to the Wheels ‘n’ Heels Stage to enjoy the performance by UAE superstar Shama Hamdan, who is the first Emirati woman to make it to the finals of the hit reality show Arabs Got Talent.

The 7th Wheels ‘n’ Heels promises a spectacular stage programme with a stunning performance by Jordanian music sensation, television host and actress Diana Karazon, winner of the first ever Super Star television series, while young ones will enjoy meeting popular Baraem Children’s Channel presenters Ahmed Al Mulla and Jihan Arsanious, masters of the ceremony of the event.

Elsewhere in the Museum of Islamic Art Park, sports fans will be having their photo taken and getting autographs from sports icons, Mahmoud and Abdullah Bo Shri (Kuwait), rally racer Nada Zeidan (Qatar), and teenage swimming sensation Nada Mohamed Arakji (Qatar).

Participants will have the opportunity to jump on a skateboard or lace up a pair of trainers to complete The Circuit as adults, children and celebrities jog, walk, cycle or wheelchair three (3) kilometers along the Doha Corniche. The social activity will help ROTA raise fund to provide quality education to 48 million disadvantaged children in the world’s largest continent, Asia. Al Mannai said:

Ensuring everyone has enough energy to enjoy the entire eight hours of Wheels ‘n’ Heels excitement, the Wheels ‘n’ Heels Food Zone will fuel the passion for community celebration and active lifestyle by providing a selection of tasty, healthy snacks and drinks throughout the day.
