In collaboration with world acclaimed Peruvian celebrity chef, Gastón Acurio, InterContinental Doha has launched La Mar, an upscale-casual-dining restaurant serving authentic Peruvian Cuisine.
La Mar by Gastón Acurio offers an eclectic menu of Peruvian gastronomy for the first time ever in Doha. Offering a mix of indoor and outdoor seating, and distinctive culinary experiences, the menu of La Mar features a wide range of authentic classic Peruvian dishes, including the signature Cebiche’s, seafood cooked in citrus and spices before serving, as well as Tiraditos a Peruvian classic where raw fish, cut in the shape of sashimi or carpaccio and is served in a spicy sauce. La Mar also offers a variety of grills for meat lovers from its grill station including grilled tenderloin, grilled chicken thighs, the Tomahawk A Lo Pobre, and grilled lamb chops among a variety of meat dishes.
La Mar originally opened as a Cevichería in Lima specializing in Peruvian seafood. This restaurant also opened in Colombia, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Panama and many other countries. La Mar Cebicheria opened in March 2015 in Buenos Aires, in the Palermo Hollywood area.

Taking inspiration from the street food of Peru, La Mar also serves Anticuchos which Chef Gaston has adapted for this upscale restaurant. Guests can also look forward to tucking into Lomo Saltado a popular, traditional Peruvian stir fry which combines marinated strips of beef steak with onions, tomatoes, potatoes, and other ingredients. Notably, La Mar also serves another classic such as Chaufa Aeropuerto a dish comprising various ingredients including rice, seafood and eggs.
To complete the experience, La Mar’s comprehensive cocktail programme includes a list of Peruvian specials, featuring cocktails infused with Pisco, a South American grape beverage, and signature cocktails with a Peruvian twist.

La Mar boasts spectacular sea views, along with a distinguished al fresco dining experience, set in an upscale casual atmosphere combining Peruvian elements with modern luxe decor.
La Mar is open from Monday–Sunday, 12:30 pm–4 pm and 6 pm–11:30 pm. The restaurant is situated on the InterContinental Doha property and offers its own valet service.
