Dr Terry Creissen OBE has recently been appointed as Executive Principal to Compass International School, Doha. The new appointment sees the union of the three campuses in Doha and represents an exciting era in the long term development of the school.
As former Principal of Compass International School, Madinat Khalifa, Dr Creissen is well placed to take over the leadership of the two specialist primary campuses at Gharaffa and Rayyan, which together with the campus at Madinat Khalifa will provide an all-through education from Early Years to Secondary, including the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme for post 16 students.
Dr Creissen brings a wealth of leadership experience to Compass International School. He takes up the position having over 22 years experience as Principal: 14 years as Executive Principal in the UK; over 5 years at the Nord Anglia International School, Shanghai, China; and, two years at its sister school in Warsaw, Poland. Dr Creissen joined Compass International School, Madinat Khalifa in 2014 and has since led the school at both a strategic and operational level resulting in significantly raised standards.
Dr Creissen is supported by an established and talented Senior Leadership Team and qualified staff across the three campuses. Together they will lead the school and its 1700 pupils towards sustained excellence and further growth as they provide students with cutting edge, global, ambitious educational experiences.
