Caterer Middle East Awards 2012 has bestowed the title of ‘Best Chef of the Year’ to Executive Chef Richard Green from The Ritz-Carlton, Doha.

The fourth annual awards from Caterer Middle East magazine recognise the hard work and dedication of a variety of food and beverage professionals, outlets and companies across the region.

This year’s judges described Chef Green as a ‘solution finder’, always looking for a solution instead of focusing on the challenges. He always put his time and energy into developing and training his team to achieve the highest standards as well as doing a close engagement with guests.

Chef Green believes that ‘It is not the Executive Chef who makes a great team – it is the team that makes a great Executive Chef.’
