Katara Cultural Village recently organised the Story of Fath Al Khair’s Third Voyage, an exhibition by Qatari artist Fahad al Maadid under the patronage of Katara General Manager Khalid al Sulaity.

The exhibition aims to document the voyage of ‘Fath Al Khair 3’ which Katara had launched recently as part of the 7th edition of the Katara Dhow Festival, with the message of peace and love to Kuwait and Oman. Around 50 artwork piece were on display at the exhibition.

Fahad explained that most of the events which he has sketched from the past voyage to Kuwait and Oman were mainly of the people he met and places hevisited there.

Khalid Al Sulaity also opened the ‘Emergence of Art from Desert‘ exhibition which focuses on supporting the young and amateur artists. Eleven students and graduates from Al Jazeera Academy participated in the exhibition. Around 55 different artworks were on display. The exhibitions are open to the public until 28 February.
