Manya Girdhar said that along with gaining a well-rounded experience at DBS, she also benefited from studying in a multi-cultural environment, preparing her for a future that is beyond an ordinary high school experience.

The quality of teaching at DBS is excellent and the teachers are willing to support you in your journey towards academic success. Through the support and guidance of teachers, I was able to achieve the highest marks in Qatar for a GCSE Further Pure Maths qualification! This accomplishment paved the path for a career centred around problem-solving. I plan to pursue an Artificial Intelligence major at the University of Manchester in the UK.

Studying at Doha British School has made my life more dynamic. Besides balancing my IB diploma, I attended the annual Astronomy conferences, served as the leader of ‘Downtown Doha’, built an app prototype at Georgetown University and participated in the Pi Day Mathematics competition. The wealth of opportunities as part of the ‘CAS’ programme at DBS has developed my personality to more than what my grades reflect.’
