(Left to right) James Conly, Vice Principal, Head of Sixth Form, Mark Leppard, Principal and Teresa Woulfe, Senior Vice Principal, Head of Secondary celebrate with some of the students who achieved exceptional results.

This year, Doha College students performed exceptionally well in all areas of examinations. At (I)GCSE, 94% of students achieved 5 – A* to C grades with 54% securing 5 or more A* to A grades. At A Level, the results were equally impressive with 82% achieving A* – C.

Principal Mark Leppard said:

We are extremely proud of the outstanding results achieved by our students. The support from parents and staff is a major factor, but the attitude and commitment by our students contributes significantly to these successful outcomes. This year we saw a significant number of students scoring 100% in individual units of their exams, which is a remarkable achievement.’

These figures put Doha College in the top 100 UK schools bracket, a measure associated with an outstanding school. Ninety-four percent of their sixth form leavers are now heading off to university to study.

The Senior Vice Principal and the Head of Secondary, Teresa Woulfe, said:

Our students have worked extremely hard and have fully embraced the ethos and values of Doha College. Their refreshing approach supports learning and enables these outstanding results to be achieved. A good education and exam success allows them to access further education and build successful careers.’
