Doha College Celebrates Class of 2022 Graduation with Live Performances, ‘Touching’ Programme
The event was attended by British Ambassador to Qatar, HE Jonathan Wilks and guest speaker Fatima El Mahdi, Head of THIMUN Qatar. The event was also regaled with musical interludes performed by Doha College students.
The 118 students who graduated this year – including three Qataris – are set to start university courses in the UK and Europe, United States, Canada, Bahrain, and Qatar – with other place confirmations from around the world still arriving everyday.
Exceptional academic performance
Doha College is proud to have a history of exceptional examination results, and also offers one of the widest range of subjects in the country, listing sciences, languages, humanities, fine arts, performing arts, music, and also BTEC qualifications in sports coaching. This combination of excellence and versatility opens wide horizons for the future careers of their students.
The most favoured destinations this year are shaping up to be University of Manchester, which will welcome nearly 10% of Doha College graduates; followed by Queen Mary University of London, University of Nottingham, Cardiff University, University College London, University of Warwick, Durham University, King’s College London, Imperial College London, Stanford and many more.
