The Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) National Breast and Bowel Cancer Screening programme Screen For Life, is partnering with Doha Festival City to host an in-mall activation programme in support of its month-long October Means Breast Cancer Screening campaign.
Aimed at increasing awareness levels and encouraging as many women as possible, Doha Festival City visitors can avail of the complementary breast cancer screening within the mall.
Doha Festival City has shown tremendous support for the campaign and has allocated a space within its premises for the Screen For Life awareness booth, hosting the programme’s mobile screening unit which offers free on-ground mammogram service to eligible ladies (45 years and above and holder of a health card).
The booth will enable the ‘Screen For Life’ team members to engage with shoppers and provide them with an in-depth insight into the goals of the programme and the processes involved, driving home the message of how screening plays a crucial role in the early detection of cancer.

The month-long breast cancer awareness campaign is a key addition to the Screen For Life efforts to drive cancer awareness among Qatari citizens and residents. Led by the PHCC, the interactive in-mall activation plays a crucial role in the success of the programme.
