Doha Festival City announced the launch of the first-of-its-kind Festival Eats TV, to showcase the range of global dining offers available exclusively at the mall.
The new Festival Eats series will feature a host of renowned foodies to review a specific outlet from the myriad of brands available at the mall. The TV series will be broadcast on their social media channels and on YouTube, every last Wednesday of every month at 7 pm. Each episode will feature an F&B outlet and a new host.
First episode with Rachel Morris
For the first episode, Festival Eats TV featured the mall’s most recent addition and much-anticipated dining destination – the Karafirin restaurant, located at the south food court entrance on the ground floor.
Karafirin operates 24 stores across Istanbul. Its ethos is to create a place where guests feel valued and where they can enjoy delicious food that nourishes the soul and the body’s five senses. The restaurant reflects the warmth of Anatolia and the modern vibes and architecture of Istanbul.
The first episode of Festival Eats was hosted by renowned food blogger Rachel Morris, who shared her insights and experience at Karafirin. The review covers the restaurant’s interiors, atmosphere and exclusive food choices.
As an added treat, each episode of Festival Eats also features a contest where customers have to answer a question correctly for a chance to win a prize from the featured outlet. In the first episode, Karafirin offered a free breakfast for two people.

According to Doha Festival City General Manager Robert Hall, Festival Eats follows the success of last year’s Fashion Festival TV episodes and the positive feedback from customers on how the show helped them in their shopping choices.
