Qatar is once again getting ready to host a city-wide celebration of food this October! Running from 25 to 29 October, the Doha Food Fest culinary extravaganza will feature over 30 leading restaurants, ten hotels, and some of Doha’s renowned culinary specialists and Michelin Star Chefs.

Brought to Doha by MoreCravings by Marriott Bonvoy, foodies can also expect a mouth-watering line-up of experimental culinary experiences, including chef cook-offs, mixology classes, exclusive dining and tasting menus, plus much more!

According to Marriott International Area Vice President Safak Guvenc, they are delighted to put the spotlight on everything that Doha has to offer when it comes to food as part of Doha Food Fest 2020.

Traditional Zarb at the Sharq Village & Spa (a Ritz-Carlton Hotel)

The Sharq Village & Spa team will celebrate the traditional cuisine with Zarb during the Doha Food Fest. Zarb is a traditional Bedouin underground oven used by nomadic herding peoples in the Arabian Peninsula. The unique cooking technique of Zarb includes digging a hole in the soft sand, filling the hole with coal and leaving the food to cook undisturbed for several hours.
