With the collaboration of the Little Academy nursery, the first Doha Children’s Toys Barter and Finger Food market will take place on Saturday 8 February 2014 at the new nursery Little Academy in Madinat Khalifa North.

Doha Flea Market will organise its first market, Little Tree Market, aimed at the little ones and families, in general. This market has been organised together with the collaboration of the Little Academy nursery teaching staff.

Children’s Toys Barter

Bartering is the oldest form of commerce known. It changes our perception of life and the way we live it. Thus, we strengthen the child’s personality and criteria. In the Children’s Toys Barter from Little Tree Market, all children who participate will have to bring toys they no longer use, in good condition, so that other children can use them. They can also bring any object other than toys, such as musical instruments, crayons, books, etc. Toys and other objects are divided into three sections and each will have a teacher who will tell the children how to barter. Homemade finger foods and a selection of handcraft sellers will be available around the around the children’s barter including unique, original and exclusive family market: household goods, clothes and accessories, jewelry, handcrafts, etc.

Little Academy

Little Academy will organise several fun activities for all the family: children will be able to participate in workshops such as Pilates, yoga, and play-ball – all of which are free-of-charge. The new Little Academy nursery is situated in Madinat Khalifa North. Strategically located, this new facility occupies an area over 1,000 square metres, and is equipped with the highest standards of comfort, safety and teaching staff to ensure the most comprehensive education for children up to four years. The opening of a second Little Academy nursery is a major step forward in the path of leadership on pre-school education in Doha. In 2006, the first nursery was opened in Mamoura area, where 130 children are currently enrolled. Recognised by the Ministry of Social Affairs as one of the five best nurseries in the country, this new opening is very well received with very high expectations.
