Organised by Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation (QMMF), the second round of the 2015 Qatar National Endurcross Championship took place on 31 January 2015 at Sealine with participation of 53 riders.
QMMF President, FIM Deputy President & FIA Vice President, Nasser Khalifa Al Attiyah, expressed his happiness at the end of the event. He said:
I am very happy to see the number of participants increasing exponentially this season of Qatar national Endurocross 2015. Thanks to all the riders and teams for joining us and we will continue to support riders can have more participants with this great level of competition.’
In the E1 category, the winner of race 1 and 2 Meshari Abou Shaibah lead the race from the beginning and gave no chance to the other competitors to take his place.
The second classified in the E1 category, Moaath Al Ansari also from Kuwait and Saeed Al Shenqiti from UAE clinched third.
In the second race of the bikes of the E2 category, the winners were exactly the same as the first race, with Jake Preston taking the lead. The UAE rider, Mohammed Al Balooshi, gave a tough battle to Kuwaiti rider, Mohammed Jaffar, finishing second and third respectively.
In the Quad category, the winner was Mohammed Al Shamri from UAE riding a Kawasaki KFX-450 quad leading with 44 points. Fahad Al Mussallam from Kuwait got the second place, followed by Kuwaiti, Mohammed Al Kulaifi.
Yannic Le Gourvenec got the lead in Veteran category. Mubarak Al Ali second and Anwar Al Nuami third.
Trophies were given by Nasser Khalifa Al Attiya, QMMF President; Sultan Al Morraikhi, QMMF Board Member; Mohammed Saad Al Moraikhi, QMMF general secretary; Essa Al Awadi, FIM Asia Vice President; and Hamad Al Seif Kuwaiti, federation representative.
