Education Above All Foundation (EAA) announced the launch of ‘Qatar Talent Show’, a competition designed to empower students and enhance educational opportunities, and to celebrate talent, creativity and personal growth.

The competition, which will run from 20 August until 3 May 2024, is open to all students in Qatar. They may register through their schools or via the EAA website. A registration fee of QAR100 will be donated to EAA projects.

A unique platform for students

The event is a unique platform for students, children and youth to showcase their talents and inspire others, foster healthy competition, and create camaraderie. Trophies will be awarded to winners as a token of appreciation. Over 60 schools and more than 3,000 participants are expected to join.

EAA aims to transform lives through education. The institution believes that education is the single most effective means of reducing poverty, creating peaceful and just societies, unlocking the full potential of every child and youth, and creating the right conditions to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).

EAA aim to create a world where no child is left behind, no matter the challenges they face.

Raising awareness

The goal of the talent show is to raise awareness about EAA projects and to raise funding for a select number of its education projects, All donations to the EAA Foundation directly impact millions of children’s education worldwide.

One hundred per cent of all donations will be used for education projects across the world, focused on helping children in Myanmar, Zanzibar, Somalia, Sudan, Mali, and Cambodia; the Together Project in Qatar, the ROTA Program Project Youth Volunteers for Training and Development and the Al Fakhoora Access to Higher Education in Gaza, Syria, Turkey, and Lebanon.

These projects assist marginalised and impoverished children, providing opportunities and hope for a better future. EAA intends to provide and increase access to educational facilities and resources and improve the quality of education for children in these areas.
