Commercial Bank and Education City Golf Club (ECGC) officially launched the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters Pro-Am Qualifier Open, which will be held this week on Saturday, 18 January.
For the first time since the launch of Qatar Masters, Commercial Bank is calling out the golfing community to take part in the pre-qualifier golf competition, giving participants the opportunity to try to qualify to play in the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters Pro-Am tournament scheduled to take place on 4 March, one day prior to the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters.
ECGC General Manager Michael Braidwood that through the first-ever competition, they aim to provide the golfing community a unique opportunity to play in a national golf tournament, playing alongside professionals and international golf players.
Top three standing players will get a chance to play in the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters Pro-Am, and each will win two free entries to VIP chalet at the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters 2020.
According to Hussein Al Abdulla, Chief Marketing Officer at Commercial Bank, playing in Commercial Bank Pro-Am tournament with leading professional golfers is a dream for many golf enthusiasts.
As we are always looking at ways to provide more playing opportunities for our customers and the general public, the introduction of this new pro-am competition is another example of how we are fulfilling that pledge.’
The cost of entry to the pre-qualifier golf competition is QAR600 for guests, QAR500 for Commercial Bank Card Holders and GTG/PTG and Midweek members, and complimentary for ECGC club members. The fee includes a post-game lunch.
