Education City Golf Club hosted the SIXT Appeal golf tournament on the clubs’s 6 Hole Championship Golf Course.
The unique event featured a field of golfers playing in a Pairs Betterball Stableford Format followed by Match Play Knockouts. Thirty-two players proceeded to the knockout phase that was held over the same day as the qualifier.
The 6 hole golf course is the realisation of the Education City Golf Club’s vision – to not only attract newcomers to take up the game, but also offers the experience of playing a beautifully manicured Championship course in less than 90 minutes. The Sixt tournament ensured that all tournament players finished in fast times following the competitive format
The winners, Jason Olley and Gavin Daley each were lucky to be driving home in a BMW 5 Series for the weekend courtesy of Sixt Rent a Car.
