Education City Golf Club (ECGC) recently joined the global golf network Pacific Links which will allow their members to avail of preferred green fee pricing at over 400 courses worldwide in over 40 different countries.

This benefit fits in well with the multinational demographic of the golf club whose members travel frequently to destinations for golf holidays. Likewise, inbound holiday makers with golf clubs that are part of the network will be able to play at ECGC at preferred rates while on holiday in Qatar.

In addition, this will also allow ECGC to set up a number of reciprocal golf matches with other Pacific Links member clubs in Oman, Asia, Australia, Europe and the US.

Commenting on the this initiative, ECGC Director of Golf Rhys Beecher said the opportunity allows them to give value back to their golf club members who have been supportive of them since they opened in January this year.

Our members will now have the opportunity to travel globally and save on reduced rates at leading golf courses around the world, while also supporting the tourism industry in Qatar by promoting the destination worldwide through the growing Pacific Links Network.’

This agreement also helps put Qatar on the golf destination map as ECGC will now become accessible to Pacific Links member network of over 130,000 golfers globally. ECGC looks forward to welcoming visiting golfers for a golfing break or just one round of golf when transiting through the global hub.

Michael Jamieson of Pacific Links said they are delighted to welcome ECGC in joining their network.

Education City Golf Club is a spectacular modern facility which I’m sure will be a popular choice for our traveling golfers and we hope your members enjoy the benefits and experiences of our courses around the globe.’
