Artist in Residence Exhibition: Infinite Dimensions

July 16 - September 1

Infinite Dimensions

Presented in three main sections – Tangible Spectrums, The Edge of Thoughts, and Visual Sphere – the exhibition will give visitors the opportunity to discover and explore the local contemporary and conceptual art, through the unusual artworks on display, art practices and mediums.

The exhibition marks the end of a highly successful season of the Artist in Residence Programme – an annual initiative that nurtures creative talent from across the country. Curated by Dr Bahaa Abudaya and Saida Al Khulaifi, the exhibition will study and explore the question of conceptualism in artistic practices. The artists during their nine-month residency were invited to experiment and explore new ideas and media to understand more the meaning of conceptual artworks, focusing on ideas and meanings more than aesthetics.
