EvalSouth Conference 2023

Organised by the Program of Social Policy and Evaluation Research (PROSPER) at the HBKU College of Public Policy, offers an in-depth exploration of the multifaceted realm of evaluation. Particular emphasis is placed on national evaluation policies, the incorporation of Artificial Intelligence, evaluation-informed policymaking, governance, culture of evaluation, evaluation advocacy, youth engagement and capacity development.
The gathering is not merely an academic colloquium but serves as an impetus for actionable change.
The conference anticipates future directions in academic education, training and professional development within the evaluation sector. It pays special regard to the Global South, examining the role of transnational organisations in engendering knowledge sharing, collaborative endeavours, and capacity-building initiatives.
