Taiwanese-Canadian artist, Anny Ku will launch her second solo art exhibition on 23 May, showcasing a number of paintings inspired by the Gulf region and beyond.
The exhibition titled, Inspirations from the Gulf and Beyond, will run until 21 June at the Katara Art Center.
Anny Ku, a Taiwanese-Canadian artist who received her formal art training in Taiwan at the Tainan University of Technology, currently teaches art at the International School of London (ISL) Qatar. She has expertise in a wide range of media and techniques that include sketching, oil and acrylic-based painting as well as Chinese calligraphy. Ku has lived in Qatar since 2003, and enjoys expressing her appreciation and fondness for the Gulf region through her painting and sketches.
