Yto Barrada’s conversation with exhibition curator Laura Barlow will provide insights into the different strands of thought and the presence of the parallel but distinct lives of those featured in Barrada’s exhibition at Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art, My Very Educated Mother Just Served Us Nougat.

This public event marks the closing of the exhibition and celebrates the publication of the exhibition catalogue, curated and edited by Laura Barlow. The event will be held in English and simultaneous Arabic translation will be provided.
